A movement educator, wellness consultant, Nigerian Canadian mama, and someone who's been helping people live in their bodies for over fifteen years. I'm based in the Ottawa area, where I built two studios and somehow also a consulting practice in between school pick ups and drop offs.
 

 

When I'm not doing my thing, I'm dancing to whatever beat shows up, thrifting to explore history, painting watercolours I'll never frame, or plotting the next trip over a very good coffee.
 

 

Movement is in everything {not the 1hr class}. Joy is the strategy. And the best things happens when people feel, or tap into feeling. If any of that sounds like what you've been looking for, hi. Let's go.

Community Spotlight: Community Action Arnprior Career Connect Mixer

A ground-breaking program is being piloted in Arnprior and the entire community stands to benefit.

Community Action Arnprior, in collaboration with WildRoga, is inviting small and medium enterprises, community-based organizations, public agencies and job seekers on an exciting journey focused on workforce planning, training, and work placements.

Connected to People: Ro Nwosu - Destination Ontario

Ro’s journey from a small maritime community of Newfoundland to the rugged whitewater region of the Ottawa Valley was pretty straightforward, and with a familiar tune many will recognize: she met someone and picked up and moved with them, landing in the Ottawa Valley.

University of Ottawa: Wellness Week with Elladj Baldé

Globally renowned professional skater Elladj Baldé, sits down with moderator Ro Nwosu to discuss his journey navigating a predominantly white figure skating industry as a Black immigrant, and what led him to discover his newfound path to success and unrelentless passion for wild ice, which has since allowed him to inspire millions around the world, become the face of global campaigns and change the future of the skating industry for the better.

Ro gets honest about the years she said yes to everything - the studios, the trainings, the diversity work nobody else wanted to do - while quietly falling apart behind the scenes. She talks about being a Black woman expected to soften her own truth to make other people comfortable, about a relationship she stayed in three conversations too long, about losing touch with her own joy so completely she couldn't answer a simple question: what do you actually like?
